GLENGARRY SWING

Progressive Dance in March or Two-step time

The difficult part of this dance is the clapping section. It's great fun but confusing (especially for beginners.)!

This is the sort of dance everyone can do, and learn it in a few minutes. Teach the claps first.

The dance is in four quarters each of which have a count of eight beats of music. (Four two-step bars).

Begin: In Promenade Position, man on inside of circle, facing down the Line Of Dance (LOD) but slightly toward centre.
