Sunday Club at Yate
Methodist Church is a fun and lively place to be! Once children turn 3
and have left crèche they can come to us for an early introduction to
God's word.
Sunday club meets during the morning service
each week, apart from on a family service which is the second Sunday
each month. This service is tailored to children and they remain in the
service as part of the main worship.
Each week the children's bible is used
alongside activities to bring all the well known bible stories to life.
Our children enjoy making things, playing games and acting out the
stories, and our leaders work hard to ensure that through these fun
activities the children understand God's message in each story.
At special times during the year the Sunday
Club join with older children from Christian Peak to take part in
services and each year we have a children's nativity.
Sunday club is staffed by regular members of
the church and the children build up a good relationship with these
adults as well as forming friendships with their peers.
